Legal and General Franchises

LGFL in its present incarnation was created in 1992 the progress has been steady with a strategy that has provided solid growth to ensure that LGFL did not run before it could walk, and by not promising the 'world' that it would expand by 50 offices a year for the next ten years! Indeed LGFL has never been driven in terms of the number of offices in the UK; it has always concentrated on quality rather than quantity. The policy for choosing software is no different. LGFL has never shirked away from closing down 'rogue' franchised offices, as it firmly believes in the highest professional standards being maintained which in turn hopefully upholds the reputation of its brand names for the benefit of the franchisor, the franchisee and most importantly, the customer.

LGFL currently has nearly 130 offices trading under 7 different well-known brand names. All seven brands use the Dezrez software package to manage their front and back office. There are six brands operating in the South, of which Ellis & Co, Adam Kennedy and Land & Co trade within the M25 and also in the Tonbridge and Cambridge areas. Parkers and Simmons & Lawrence trade in the Reading, Oxford, Swindon and Gloucester areas, and C J Hole trade in the Bristol and Cheltenham areas. The seventh brand, Whitegates, operates in the North of England, covering the Midlands, the North West, Yorkshire, the North East and one office in Wrexham (Wales).

LGLF are the only large franchise group that are trully networked through their franchise via one software solution. The Dezrez system gives the franchisor the ability to monitor weaker branches and spot training issues if they arise. Franchise directors have the ability to drill down through the product for each branch, right down to individual user level. Monitoring of pipelines and branch performance is information readily available to those with correct security priveledges. This gives the franchise the ability to protect its network and maximise the earning potential of each office. The software allows the franchisees to perform all the daily tasks and also earn from other revenue streams such as conveyancing. Have a look at the CJ Hole case study below and find out what their principle chris Hill thinks of the software.
