Dezrez System Requirements
Internet Connection
The recommended connection speed should not be taken as the limit, the system will always benefit from the faster Internet connection speeds.
1 User
Minimum: 56 Kbps modem connection + flat rate internet connection
Recommended: 512 Kbps Broadband, ADSL or Cable Modem connection
2 - 5 Users
Minimum: 128 Kbps dual channel ISDN + flat rate internet connection
Recommended: 512 Kbps Broadband, ADSL or Cable Modem connection
5 - 10 Users
Minimum: 1 Mbps Broadband, ADSL or Cable Modem connection
Recommended 4 Mbps Broadband, ADSL or Cable Modem connection
10+ Users
Minimum: 2 Mbps Broadband, ADSL or Cable Modem connection
Recommended: 8+ Mbps Broadband, ADSL or Cable Modem connection
N.B. All broadband connections should be of business specification
Internal Network
A 100Mbps internal network is required for dezrez enterprise version. (Dezrez Enterprise version will require an internally fixed IP address for the machine running SQL 2000 or MSDE 2000).
PC Specification
The actual requirement for the system to run is very low indeed. In fact the present lowest spec pc’s you can buy generally exceed the specification required. However, the following should be considered a minimum for legacy PC’s.
512MB RAM 450Mhz PIII, 10GB HD.
Dezrez recommends 1Gb Ram with WIndows XP.
Dezrez also runs on Windows Vista, the minimum requirements are:

If the office requires the Dezrez Enterprise Version, then we would require Microsoft SQL to be installed in the office. For details on the server specifications required by dezrez click here.
Operating Systems
Whilst the system does run on Windows 95/98/ME, Microsoft no longer offer support/upgrades for these versions, so we would recommend that you upgrade those systems to a office grade operating system such as Windows 2000 Professional / XP Professional / Windows Vista.
Other Requirements
If you install office firewalls it is recommended, that you open certain ports to allow access to them via our Support Client (ports 5500 - 5530). Opening ports for Microsoft Netmeeting would also be an advantage. Our Support client is used extensively for training, support and demonstration by our support team and allowing access will ease support issues considerably.
The system can integrate with Microsoft Word to produce standard letters and logs of letters sent. Dezrez only supports Word 2000 and above for the generation of letters.
Dezrez requires that you use Internet Explorer 5.5 or above.
