Each year Dezrez and DezrezLegal come together to raise funds and awareness for a charity chosen by members of the team. This year we have worked with the incredible volunteer funded and led charity Matthew's House.

A Gift of Hope from Us and Our Agents

With the cost of living crisis Matthew’s House and it’s services are now more in demand than ever.

After a heart-warming and thought provoking time working with the charity, we decided to end the year by giving a donation of £900.00 to further fund the great work that the volunteers are doing to help those who need it most. This donation was a gift given by Dezrez, DezrezLegal and from all of our wonderful agents and customers.

Their Story

Matthew’s House – Hospitality and Hope

Matthew’s House is a home in the heart of Swansea that gives hope to those facing food poverty and homelessness and supports those faced with the challenges of mental health and addiction. It is a safe place where friendly volunteers work passionately to provide care, understanding and comfort to those who are in need.

What Does Matthew's House Provide?

To date Matthew’s House has served on average 2,000 meals per month from their in-house facility Matt’s Café and have given out over 3,000 dignity packs which include a toothbrush, tooth paste, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, mints, and items of clothing. The outstanding work that this charity provides has also been recognized with the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service.

Fundraising and Volunteering

Throughout the year Dezrez and DezrezLegal have worked closely with Matthew’s House. Helping to prepare hot meals, washing dishes and walking a staggering 10,000 steps per day through September where they raised an incredible £671.42.
